Polyprint has appointed Fernando Tissnes as general manager of its American subsidiary, opened in late 2020.

Mr Tissnes has previously served in business development and project management roles at companies including Kornit Digital, Seiko Instruments and Océ USA. Back in 2015 Mr Tissnes, who boasts more than 20 years of experience in the industry, was ranked among the ‘Top 30 most influential Business Executives in the Graphics Arts Industry’ by Noticias de Gran Formato magazine.

‘Fernando’s expertise and diverse skillset makes him a valuable addition to our team,’ said George Benglopoulos, CEO of Polyprint. ‘I am confident that he will keep empowering garment decorators through our growing DTG local supply chain. We are devoted in offering our clients full access to our products, support system and ongoing educational services.’

Mr Tissnes himself added, ‘I am dedicated to improving Polyprint USA’s distribution network through the country and creating strong relationships with our prospective partners and customers. Aiming to increasing Polyprint’s global footprint and generating an even closer bond with its US customer base, I am convinced that the local supply chain of Polyprint products will reinforce apparel decorators and help them grow.’
