EFI has hailed the success of last month’s user event, which was held at the Edgbaston Park Hotel in Birmingham, England.
The in-person event, which was free to attend, brought together EFI customers and experts in order to explore the company’s MIS and web to print (W2P) offerings.
Taking place over 2 – 3 November in England’s second city, the event saw attendees brought up to date with all the latest EFI news and experts from the company lay out a roadmap for how its software was set to develop in the future.
The audience also got to hear from other EFI customers, with extensive case studies provided about best practice when it comes to adopting and making the most of the company’s MIS and W2P systems. Other areas touched upon included the reduction of touchpoints and automation.
Speakers at the conference included Ali Ridha Jaffar from Syncomsl, Adam Short from The Imaging Centre and both Andrew Banyard and Courtney Brock from Interprint. Each of the talks was followed by a vigorous Q&A session where the full capabilities of EFI’s MIS and W2P solutions were expanded upon and suggestions for future iterations were put forth.
Adrian Zesiger, EFI’s sales director for the EMEA region, commented on the conference. ‘We had a fantastic turnaround at the event,’ he said. ‘It was great to meet customers in person after almost 18 months. We had many fruitful discussions during the sessions, and we are excited that more customers are embracing EFI’s print solutions in the UK. I’m certain that the Midmarket Print Suite’s new features and improved workflow will benefit our customers and help our current expansion in the UK.’
During the evening between the two days EFI also hosted a networking evening at which the company’s customers and experts could mingle and share their own advice for making the most of the future.
