Multiloft’s sandwich capabilities add an extra dimension to the finished product (up to 20 mm thick!), whilst its easy handling qualities ensure that it is compliant with digitally print, foil print, debossing and die cut processes.

Another product development that has been added to Premier’s portfolio is Mohawk Lay Flat Panoramic, with its unique cohesive on the reverse side, which is the perfect solution for brochures, flyers, leaflets, photobooks and calendars and many more applications where it is required for images to be printed across the fold without colour matching or binding problems.

Environment

The environment also plays a big part in Premier’s business activities, as a company and as a service to its digital print customers. So, as an environmentally conscious company, Premier became the first paper merchant to achieve ISO 14001 certification in 1997, and holds Chain of Custody certification for both Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) accreditations, providing customers with the reassurance and peace of mind that its products are sourced from suppliers that operate to sustainable forest management practices.

As a leading independent paper merchant group, Premier offers one of the most comprehensive ranges of recycled papers and boards, from 75% to 100% recycled content, including FSC 100% recycled. All of Premier’s FSC certified papers and boards carry the Mixed Credit or a percentage claim, whilst all of Premier’s PEFC certified papers and boards carry a minimum of 70% PEFC certified pulp.

Premier is careful to source its products from reputable and responsible suppliers, all of whom have enviable environmental credentials.

The Carbon Capture programme is just one of the initiatives provided to customers, with Premier Paper offering its print customers and end users the opportunity to capture the CO2 emissions from their paper purchases, by planting and conserving native woodland right here in the UK. As a corporate partner of the Woodland Trust, Premier Paper signed up to its UK Woodland Carbon Code. This programme sets a new standard for Carbon Capture, removing it from the atmosphere through the creation of native woodland across the country.

Premier recognises that planting trees not only helps to absorb carbon dioxide but also helps to create a diverse natural habitat that is rich in wildlife for all to enjoy.

The Carbon Capture scheme operates under the Government’s Woodland Carbon Code, a voluntary standard for woodland creation projects in the UK. The independent certification to this standard provides assurance and clarity about the carbon benefits of these sustainably managed woodlands. It is calculated that 25m² of native UK woodland will capture and store one tonne of CO2 and creating large areas of new native woodland, will, over time, remove hundreds of thousands of tonnes of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

There are a wide range of products within the Premier Digital, all of which can have their CO2 emissions captured from the paper purchases.

So when it comes to the widest range of products for digital print, coupled with excellent service and expertise, look no further than Premier’s network of UK branches. For reliability, quality, and delivery, guaranteed.
