Intec Printing Solutions, a trusted name in the industry for over 35 years, which was acquired by the Plockmatic Group in 2022, will merge with Morgana Systems, the Group’s other UK-based entity on January 1st 2025, as part of Plockmatic Group’s UK operations.
Plockmatic, with over 50 years of experience in the Print Finishing Industry, is a globally recognised to the print and graphics market, offering a comprehensive range of booklet makers, folders, creasers, and laminators. With the acquisition of Intec, this range has expanded to include innovative packaging and labelling solutions.
The rationale for merging the two legal entities is to create a larger, unified organisation with enhanced manufacturing capabilities and combined research and development teams, enabling increased capacity and shared intellectual property resources for new product development. Additionally, the merger offers several other advantages, such as streamlined financial operations, cost reductions, and improved warehousing efficiencies.
This merger will make 2025 an important year for the two firms, allowing an increased focus on packaging and labelling products, with a number of new products due to roll out during the year.
