Version 11.0 of Kodak’s Prinergy Software has been launched. Kodak said the new version demonstrates its continued investment in advancing and optimising the functionality, performance and connectivity of its workflow software.
Offering smart automation, the Kodak Prinergy Platform provides an integrated and future-proof workflow automation solution that consolidates production across digital and analogue printing processes, explained the company. Prinergy is compatible with third-party software and equipment and connects with digital presses.
According to the company, direct connectivity to Kodak Prosper Presses is a ‘major’ new feature of Prinergy version 11.0, which has been designed to provide even more efficient support for both digital and traditional print production. The new version features enhancements to rules-based automation, improved usability for the virtual proofing software, plus improved import of harmony calibration curves into Kodak Colorflow Software. In addition, the new version offers greater security and usability, Kodak added.
‘The release of version 11.0 means Prinergy is more than ever the key to unlocking efficiency, productivity and profitability for printers in today’s digital, analogue and hybrid print production,’ said Jim Barnes, Kodak’s chief IT implementation officer. ‘The Kodak Prinergy Platform will continue to provide printers with advanced tools, automation and close collaboration options to stay competitive and profitable.’
