Riso will unveil its new fully automated printing and inserting system, ExpeJet, and new booklet-making solution, in hall 1, stand B7 at Hunkeler Innovation Days, which takes place on 24-27 February 2025, in Lucerne, Switzerland.
Both innovations feature a footprint of under 10sqm and a design which ensures easy access to all components, enhancing operational productivity and simplifying maintenance, said Riso.
The ExpeJet combines Riso’s inkjet technology with Pitney Bowes’ new Sirius production inserter. The system automates the entire process, delivering a production speed of up to 10,000 folds per hour. For the first time, Riso will present a new model of ExpeJet that integrates the Valezus T2200 high-speed inkjet printer, designed for high-volume production environments. This solution streamlines workflows and optimises production efficiency, making it an ideal choice for mailroom and transactional printing applications, explained Riso.
The company’s new book-making solution combines the Valezus T1200 with the Plockmatic PL450 booklet maker. Riso said the solution produces high-quality booklets with a streamlined, all-in-one system that handles stapling – corner and dual-edge – folding, and spine forming. This system has been described by the company as perfect for short-run, quick-turn projects that require frequent content updates.
Tatsuo Murakami, managing director of Riso UK, commented, ‘The ExpeJet and Valezus systems represent the next step in high-speed, high-quality print production. By integrating advanced inkjet technology with innovative post-processing solutions, we’re delivering productivity-boosting systems that meet the demands of the evolving print industry. Whether you’re handling large-scale transactional printing or producing booklets with quick turnaround times, Riso’s solutions are built to offer exceptional reliability and performance in any production environment.’
