Greg Ralph, co-founder of Solopress, has rejoined the Essex-based printer as its sales and customer success director. He will report directly to CEO Simon Cooper.
Mr Ralph was one of Solopress’ original founders, establishing the business in 1999 alongside Andy Smith and Aron Priest. As part of the management team, he played a key role in the company’s early success, helping to drive growth. However, his tenure with the company ended in 2012 when he decided to pursue opportunities in e-commerce, consultancy and property development.
Now equipped with a broader perspective on business strategy, digital transformation and customer experience, following his time away from Solopress, Mr Ralph will now lead efforts to attract and retain customers and improve support services, as well as overseeing the company’s sub-brands that focus on providing procurement solutions for trade partners.
These include Solopro, account management programme for larger businesses; Soloflo, the company’s API solution; and Brand Central; the company’s print ordering portal.
Mr Ralph commented, ‘The business has grown enormously since I was last here, and I’m excited to contribute to the next phase of its success. Brand Central in particular is an area where I can see an immense potential to add value to our offering. With a strong team, cutting-edge technology and a commitment to exceptional service, we have a great opportunity to build on Solopress’ reputation as a leader in online print.’
Mr Cooper described Mr Ralph as a major asset, whose knowledge of the business, combined with his experience gained elsewhere, will help drive the company forward. His leadership will be key in strengthening Solopress’ customer offering and continuing its growth in the UK market, Mr Cooper concluded.
