Fiery has launched two dedicated Fiery DFEs for the Fiery Driven Xerox PrimeLink C9200 Series printers. The DFEs will maximise productivity, image quality, brand colour accuracy, and workflow efficiency for both production and office applications, said Fiery.
Terry Antinora, senior vice president, head of product and engineering at Xerox, said that having Fiery’s digital front ends on its production presses ensures ‘stunning’ colour and ‘exceptional’ print quality, increased productivity and advanced automation.
Leveraging a new Xerox toner formulation and redesigned imaging system with Fiery Edge colour technology and 10-bit imaging, Fiery said the C9200 Series produces smooth gradients and blends, fine lines and overprints, and output on a range of media types – utilising Fiery Impose and the PrimeLink C9200 Series’ auto duplexing and tight registration for heavyweight media. Additionally, Fiery added that its DFEs enable anyone to print accurate brand colours (including Pantone colours) on all files. Its optional one-step colour management combines calibration and profile creation into a single, automated step, reducing user decisions to get the best possible quality.
According to the company, a Fiery Driven PrimeLink C9200 Series printer enables you to print how you want – with Fiery Driver, the Xerox Global Print Driver, or with standard workflow automation tools. Fiery added that users can use Fiery JobExpert, a preset that reduces errors by automatically configuring the optimal colour and printer properties; and Fiery FreeForm, an application which helps make personalised variable-data files like envelopes and direct mail applications to meet customers’ evolving demands.
The Fiery DFEs for the PrimeLink C9200 Series seamlessly integrate with Xerox management tools like Xerox Standard Accounting, Xerox Workplace Suite and Xerox Workplace Cloud, as well as print management applications from Equitrac, Kofax, YSoft, and PaperCut, explained Fiery. The DFEs also provide security features to protect the operating system, hardware, network, and data.
