Developer of colour communication systems Color-Logic has partnered with ATP Colour, manufacturer of textile printers, to ‘transform’ how textile printers utilise vibrant colours.

The collaboration introduces the Color-Logic’s Touch7 neon colour system to ATP’s printers, which are equipped with neon yellow and pink inks in conjunction with CMYK colours. By integrating the Touch7 neon colour system, Color-Logic said that ATP’s clients can now tap into an expanded colour gamut featuring 390 colours with each ATP neon colour: 195 expanded gamut colours, as well as an additional pastel gamut of 195 colours for each neon pink and neon yellow ink paired with CMYK. This advancement opens new possibilities for designers using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign for printing directly on textiles, commented Color-Logic.

The Touch7 photo neon feature allows printers to incorporate neon pink or neon yellow into images. With just one click, users can add neon inks into an image without the need for manual masking or trial-and-error process, typically required if done manually in Photoshop, explained Color-Logic.

Color-Logic concluded that through this collaboration, the companies are set to enrich the printing landscape, allowing textile printers to elevate design capabilities and deliver results that capture attention and inspire creativity.
