Design and print company, KGK Genix, has opened up new business avenues with the installation of an AccurioPress C12000 from Konica Minolta UK, bringing its small format production in-house.
The company can now deliver high-quality results, reduce lead times and improve quality control, through fully assured colour matching, while continuing to deliver high-quality results, stated Graham Pitts, group managing director at KGK Genix. Coupled with finishing equipment from Morgana, the company said it can now manage small format jobs on-site, which adds a new revenue stream alongside its wide format output.
Described by Mr Pitts as an excellent fit, the new press means KGK Genix can run high volumes of SRA3 work including retail products such as swing-tags and instore ticketing, along with business cards and brochures. The business also uses the press to produce die-cut stickers, which are then laminated and run through a digital die-cutting machine, providing an efficient and cost-effective option for customers.
Mr Pitts concluded that the AccurioPress C12000 is so cost-efficient that it will pay for itself within nine months.
