Print machine and ancillary system provider, Tresu, has launched its InkFlex ink circulator, designed to meet the demands of large, high-speed water-based printing applications.

The InkFlex automates ink circulation and introduces a new user-friendly HMI interface. This allows for quicker start-up times and includes features for easy operation as well as automated modes for ink circulation and wash cycles, explained the company. Additionally, an optional digital flowmeter provides flow and temperature readings, promoting more efficient use of resources and reducing waste.

The InkFlex is part of Tresu’s third-generation circulator platform, which offers automation capabilities. It also includes optional Industry 4.0 connectivity for full, automated control of water-based printing processes and integration with different OEM technologies. The product incorporates two air-operated double diaphragm pumps and is built on a modular platform, allowing for future activation of additional features.

When combined with Tresu’s chamber doctor blade system, the InkFlex can offer complete ink circulation control, from the bucket to the chamber. Additionally, Tresu’s optional pressure control technology, helps prevent air contamination in the chamber and reduces micro-foaming and print blistering, improving overall print quality.
