Agfa has added a new model to its Anapurna Ciervo hybrid printer line-up with the launch of the Ciervo H2050, expanding the range to three different sizes. Designed to offer greater flexibility for sign and display printing, the H2050 introduces a more compact option for businesses looking to balance productivity with space-saving design.

The Ciervo H2050 features a print width of 80 inches (205 cm) and supports the same performance-focused architecture as its larger siblings, the Ciervo H2500 – launched earlier this year – and H3200. It includes optional advanced media feed guides that enable precise and reliable printing on corrugated substrates, making it suitable for packaging and point-of-sale applications. These new guides are also available for the H3200 model.

The new H2050 supports six-colour plus white UV LED inks and benefits from Agfa’s Thin Ink Layer technology, which helps reduce ink consumption without compromising output quality. The company claims that the updated Ciervo range achieves productivity levels up to 70% higher than its predecessors.

Christine Polzin, head of sales North America, digital printing solutions at Agfa, commented: “Just like all Agfa’s ‘beastly’ inkjet presses, the Anapurna Ciervo H2050 is powerful by nature, combining a compact footprint with unparalleled performance and agility.”

Agfa continues to emphasise sustainability and operator safety across the Ciervo line. The H2050 uses GreenGuard gold-certified inks for lower environmental impact and is built for extended operating hours, supported by enhanced media handling and a robust construction. Safety features such as a protective hood further underline the printer’s suitability for demanding production environments.

The Ciervo H2050 is intended for businesses requiring high-quality hybrid printing capabilities on a range of rigid and flexible substrates and complements Agfa’s broader portfolio of inkjet solutions for industrial and sign and display applications.
