Substrates and communications business, Antalis, has signed a binding agreement to acquire Fortuna Digital Group. Fortuna is a regional supplier to the digital printing industry and a key player in the visual communication sector.

The deal, which remains subject to customary conditions, will enhance Antalis’ reach in the Adriatics and Eastern Europe. Founded in 1990, Fortuna Digital operates across Croatia, Serbia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, and Austria, employing 75 staff and generating more than €19 million (£16.41 million) in annual revenue.

Fortuna offers a portfolio that includes printers, display systems, premium self-adhesive films, and environmentally responsible media. It also maintains close relationships with digital print equipment manufacturers, with its product range showcased in dedicated showrooms.

By integrating Fortuna Digital, Antalis aims to expand its capabilities in large-format printing and further strengthen its position in the visual communication market. The acquisition is expected to help Antalis respond to increasing demand for digital and personalised solutions while reinforcing its ties with technology partners.
