The Dimense printer simultaneously prints and creates the structure of the wallpaper in one pass
The 100% Design Exhibition will feature the UK launch of Vieka’s Dimense wallpaper printer by disbtirbutor Colourgen. A broad range of 3D custom-made wallpaper samples that demonstrate the capabilities of the new printer will be on show in the Emerging Brands area.
The company will also talk about the opportunities the printer offers for interior designers and architects looking to deliver innovative and creative new styles of 3D and embossed bespoke wall coverings for clients.
The Dimense printer simultaneously prints and creates the structure of the wallpaper in one pass and is ready to hang immediately, giving the designer flexibility to create the bespoke wall covering effects they desire.
Director Mark Lambert commented, ‘This will be the first time we’ve attended 100% Design and we’re really looking forward to it. We chose to launch Dimense at this show because of its reputation for supporting emerging innovation in interior design and because it’s so well attended by designers and architects from across the country and the world.’
Dimense offers output that won’t fade in direct light, can be cleaned without scratching or damage and is C1 fire rated, making it perfect for high traffic areas such as hotels, retail and corporate environments. It can print at speeds of up to 20sqm/hour with a print width of 1.6m. Latex eco-friendly inks and PVC-free structure-forming Ecodeco media make it an environmentally friendly solution.
