Mark Hawkins, finishing team leader with the 115 guillotine
Lincolnshire based garments decorations manufacturer, J & A International has installed its second BaumannWohlenberg 115 high speed guillotine this year from supplier Friedheim International.
The company creates digitally printed badges, heat seal transfers, reflective products, heat applications, and embroidered badges for sportswear, safety wear and workwear markets.
The first BaumannWohlenberg was installed in March to increase capacity, the second joining in the middle of June to replace an aging Wohlenberg 115.
Managing director Martin Kemp said, ‘The guillotine’s main advantage is their ease of use. We operate double shifts, five days a week and we needed trustworthy and reliable guillotines to match our production. The build quality of the BaumannWohlenbergs are self-evident and a mark of a good high quality, premium machine.’
