Automation of cutting will feature on OneVision’s stand
Regensburg, Germany-based software developer OneVision will feature the latest release of its wide-format automation suite in conjunction with Canon at Fespa this week.
Version 18.1 contains new fully automated nesting features to support products that are printed on both sides, while intersecting cutting paths are simplified and cutting times are thereby reduced. Spot colours can be extracted from PDF artwork files and used to create guides for further processes such as cutting, while cut lines or white masks are removed from the printed output.
The company will show integration with Canon wide-format printers on Canon’s stand and with a Canon Océ ProCut G3 2500L cutter on OneVision’s own stand.
