Peter Smith, Prinect and consumables representative for Ireland
Peter Smith has been appointed the first ever Irish Prinect and consumables representative for Heidelberg.
Mr Smith will work closely with Frontline representative Declan Martin and finishing representative Chris Bann. He will also be supported by the consumables technical team which includes a chemist and press demonstrators to assist in product trials, colour management and application support.
Heidelberg has a strong base of engineers in Ireland, all employed rather than freelance as well as Helpdesk and remote support services.
‘Our Irish business has grown and we have reached a point where we needed to add to our sales team and to give more focus on the Prinect workflow and extensive consumables range,’ said Phil Buttress, northern sales manager. ‘This has been a consideration for some time but has become a reality now that we had the right fit with Peter Smith.’
Peter Smith joins from another consumables company where he had been employed for 20 years.
