The Fujifilm Acuity Select HS
Six months on from the installation of a Fujifilm Acuity Select HS, wide format printer company Resource Digital Graphics has experienced an upturn in productivity.
Founded by brothers Lance and Darren Britnell in 2011, Resource Digital Graphics specialises in producing a comprehensive range of complex, high-quality wide format jobs with fast turnaround times. This includes digitally printed self-adhesive films, wall coverings, window graphics, banners and display panels and involves printing to ‘just about anything’: foamex and correx panels, clear films, magnetic sheets and plywood. The company’s clients range from local businesses in Buckinghamshire to national chains and brands.
Company co-founder Lance Britnell said, ‘When the time to add a new flatbed press to our portfolio approached, we carefully considered all our options, with the clear end goal that we wanted a machine with double the throughput and no downturn in quality. The Fujifilm machine was installed in July 2017 and we’re now printing 27m² per hour on it. We’re very close indeed to the doubling of throughput we were aiming for.’
