Adam Cox, founder of Feenix Signs & Graphics

After just eight months of trading, Feenix Signs & Graphics surpassed its first-year profit forecast, utilising Roland DG’s products, service and support.

In April 2017 Adam Cox launched Feenix Signs & Graphics to supply and install internal and external signage, vehicle livery and fleet graphics.

‘The TrueVIS VG-640 is the cornerstone of my business,’ said Mr Cox. ‘Feenix is centred around – and totally dependent upon – the reliable, high-quality output the printer/cutter delivers.’

A recent visit to Roland DG UK’s Creative Centre in Clevedon proved inspirational: ‘From the moment I walked in, I felt like Charlie Bucket walking into Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory!’ recalled Mr Cox. ‘Being greeted by the infinite colours, media, materials, products and technology, supported by helpful people – and of course a coffee or two – only confirmed the high opinion I had already garnered towards Roland DG’s products and service. The physical samples on display both amazed and staggered me at times.

‘The nine-hour round-trip to visit the Creative Centre was absolutely worth it,’ he continued. ‘The displays opened my eyes with regards to future output avenues and the hardware on display gave me food for thought in terms of my own business development for the future.’

Feenix Signs & Graphics tripled its workforce within eight months of its conception, and Mr Cox is already looking to expand the premises to enable him to offer more applications.

‘The Roland DG TrueVIS VG-640 printer/cutter has enabled me to deliver consistent, quality output to my customers at a competitive price,’ he reported. ‘After just eight months of trading, the business has surpassed its first-year profit forecast and the credit is largely due to Roland DG’s products, service and support – as well as plenty of hard work, dedication and late nights!’
