Fuller Davies’ new Muller Martini Bravo Plus saddle stitcher

Investing in its finishing department again, Fuller Davies has purchased a Muller Martini Bravo Plus saddle stitcher and a Duplo 600i booklet maker with SquareBack feature.

Ipswich-based Fuller-Davies Ltd is a litho and digital printer to the advertising, publishing, manufacturing and retail industry sectors with specialist knowledge of printing and mailing. The investment is part of the company’s ongoing £2.8m investment programme which started in August 2016.

‘We continually look at areas to improve efficiency within the business and speed of turnaround for our customers,’ commented Neil Stones, managing director. ‘The print sector and wider economy continues to pose some challenging questions and investing in new kit forms an important part of our strategy and drive for greater efficiency.’

According to the company, the installation was very smooth and both devices are up and running at full capacity.

‘We can go up to A3 on the Muller and A4 landscape on the Duplo, both very important features for us and our customers,’ explained Mr Stones. ‘Plus we have a new product we can offer our customers in the form of SquareBack binding. We are all extremely excited about these new investments which are already providing an increase of 20% in our productivity as well as enhanced quality and service levels to our national client base, which is essential in today’s dynamic print market.’
