A busy session at the first Interact Europe held at Ricoh’s customer experience centre in Telford
The inaugural Interact Europe three-day event welcomed 23 Ricoh ProcessDirector users from eight countries and produced several requests from attendees that it be held annually.
Ricoh brought the forum to Europe for the first time following four annual global Interact user community events held in the USA. It was designed to immerse Ricoh ProcessDirector (Ricoh’s automated workflow solution) users in discussions on technology breakthroughs, best practices and trends.
Attendees were given practical guidance and updated on the latest developments for Ricoh ProcessDirector and related workflows by six global senior technical experts. They were also encouraged to give feedback.
‘Our experts delivered a large amount of technical content and led many constructive discussions and interactive sessions,’ commented Eef de Ridder, director, Commercial Printing, Commercial and Industrial Printing Group, Ricoh Europe. ‘The inspiring event facilitated high level conversations that will ensure the attendees get the best out of Ricoh ProcessDirector, today, and shape exciting developments in the future.’
Among the topics covered were upcoming ProcessDirector enhancements and features, an introduction to the new web services functionality and MarcomCentral, plus Ricoh’s plans for a new dashboard and reporting. Another highlight was the Workflow Challenge where attendees suggested problems for ProcessDirector to solve.
The agenda also included An Ask The Expert panel, a tips and tricks session, technical breakout discussions and a tour of the CEC.
