Inside Taylor Bloxham’s new direct mail site

Printing company the Taylor Bloxham Group has relocated its direct mail operations to a separate dedicated site, following a £1 million-plus investment in equipment to enhance its print finishing facilities.

The Taylor Bloxham Group is formed of three brands that work together: Taylor Bloxham, FastAnt and Instore, combining expertise in print, direct mail, fulfilment, and retail point of purchase. As part of a strategy to grow the group, its marketing communications subsidiary brand FastAnt Direct moved to 16,000 sq ft site in Leicester at the end of August. The relocation is a result of the rise in demand for FastAnt Direct’s direct mail, fulfilment and e-commerce services. The marketing communications company previously shared a facility with POS operation, Instore.

The new premises will enable the company to double its direct mail and communication operations. To support the increased capacity, production capability has been enhanced by investing in an additional reel fed Xerox 495 continuous feed duplex printer. The extra space in the new site will be used as a dedicated working area for hand-fulfilled solutions, improving the handling of products throughout the operation.

‘We felt that the time was right to invest in new premises as well as new equipment to support increased production,’ explained Robert Lockwood, CEO of the Taylor Bloxham Group. ‘This facility will benefit many of our traditional print clients who will be able to have their whole project managed by one company to ensure a more efficient, joined up approach.’
