Recruitment company Woodrow Mercer Document Solutions will appear at IPEX 2017 as both exhibitor and speaker, focusing on sustainable employment in the print industry.
On 1 November in the Future Skills theatre, Woodrow Mercer will be discussing the importance of sustainable employment within the print industry. The company will be hosting a session on recruitment trends and various ways to attract and retain talent in a print role. The session will be based on research from a study conducted amongst its candidates to understand what really matters to them in a job.
‘We feel that IPEX attracts a diverse mix of visitors and traders, which mirrors the broad range of roles that we recruit within the print industry, as well as the professional and consultancy services,’ said Sarah Large, marketing manager at Woodrow Mercer. ‘This show allows us to meet our contacts and discuss face to face possible future developments in their career.’
‘With the family business model that is deep-seated within the UK print industry, recruiting new talent and succession planning is a common challenge,’ commented Rob Fisher, IPEX event director. ‘We are pleased to see Woodrow Mercer speaking at IPEX, as well as offering their services and expertise to those new to the print industry, those climbing the ladder and company owners who want to grow and develop their skilled workforce.’
