Belfast-based Northside Graphics has installed an HP 7r digital press to support increased customer demand and grow turnover by an expected 20 percent.
In the past three years Northside Graphics has purchased three digital presses and invested in a web sales platform, which has seen sales increase and turnover double to £4.5 million. Now, the company has used a £260,000 loan from HSBC’s national SME Fund to install a fourth press – an HP Indigo 7r.
With digital printing enabling a more defined and higher quality finish, Northside Graphics has doubled its number of employees to cope with demand and following its latest installation, the company is set for further expansion with additional hires expected in the next two years.
‘It’s an exciting time for Northside Graphics as we see our customer base continue to grow and we begin to establish an international footprint,’ said Gary White, director at Northside Graphics. ‘Central to this has been HSBC’s understanding of our business plan which has seen us revamp our sales strategies and support subsequent demand with the purchase of additional printers.’
‘HSBC is delighted to have supported Northside Graphics’ aspirations to grow both domestically and internationally, as well as generate jobs for the local community,’ commented Nial Douglas, area director for HSBC in Northern Ireland.
