Web-to-print developer Infigo and MIS vendor Tharstern have completed an integration project that allows live pricing and quote creation for print and packaging workflows.

To be demonstrated this month at Print 17 in the US and at The Print Show in Telford in October, the companies will show how integration between Tharstern’s MIS and Infigo’s Catfish platform automates processes such as product mapping, job specification and submission, estimating, reporting, stock management, billing and shipping.

The live pricing works by pulling pricing data from the MIS via the Tharstern API (application programming interface) into the Catfish W2P environment. This enables a “single-entry” solution for product pricing and brings real-time on-demand production of accurate quotations for customers.

Douglas Gibson, managing director at Infigo Software, commented, ‘In our experience, automation and user experience are the two most important factors for printers delivering an e-commerce solution to remain profitable. Our clients need solutions that reduce manual input, increase the opportunity to deliver 24/7, on-demand services, and all with an easy-to-use online user interface.’

Lee Ward, global sales director at Tharstern, added: ‘We’re delighted to be able to show how our collaboration with Infigo Software delivers a new level of workflow efficiency and powerful e-commerce capabilities for customers.’

Tharstern will also be showing its Business Intelligence and Advanced Imposition modules at both events.
