PItStop will check uploaded PDFs in the Catfish platform
Web-to-print software developer Infigo has reached an OEM deal with Enfocus, enabling the latter’s PitStop pre-flighting tools to be embedded into online portals based on the former’s Catfish platform.
The agreement brings the well-established PDF file-checking and correction capabilities of PitStop, which is used in a number of vendors’ prepress workflows, to customers of Infigo’s cloud-based web-to-print platform.
PitStop automatically analyses artwork PDFs for a range of errors, some of which it can correct itself or raise flags for operator attention. The OEM arrangement will allow Infigo customers the option to license this technology as an add-on option to Catfish that would be supported by Infigo.
Infigo managing director Douglas Gibson commented, ‘We’ve been focused on creating new and exciting automation partnerships because we recognise that automation is key for businesses to future-proof their operations. This latest integration with the brilliant Enfocus PitStop software streamlines artwork management and preflighting, creating genuine cost and process efficiencies.’
Angelo Manno, global OEM and strategic accounts manager at Enfocus, said, ‘We’re delighted to welcome Infigo Software as an OEM partner. This integration will enable its clients to work smarter. The Enfocus PitStop solution delivers a real competitive advantage through the automation and artwork accuracy it enables, and Infigo’s customers will reap the rewards very quickly.’
