The BPIF won Publication of the Year for its book on the 2016 British Book Design & Production Awards

Held on 12 July at Drapers’ Hall in London, the 2017 Trade Association Forum (TAF) Best Practice Awards saw the BPIF collect prizes in two categories.

The BPIF marketing team won Publication of the Year for their ‘Book of the Night’ which celebrates the finalists from the 2016 British Book Design & Production Awards.

The federation won Website of the Year for the BPIF’s new site (www.britishprint.com) which was launched in March 2016, and the BPIF was also highly commended for Conference of the Year for the Leaders of the Future event which ran in conjunction with their partner, the British Office Supplies and Services (BOSS) Federation.

The Awards recognise, reward and promote best practice amongst Trade Associations in the UK and are a chance for TAF members to showcase their achievements during the last 12-18 months.

BPIF marketing director Amy Hutchinson commented, ‘We are delighted to have achieved these two awards. The team have put an enormous amount of effort into creating a website which better serves our members, allowing them to access the information they need in an easy and appealing way. In addition, our Book of the Night for the British Book Design and Production Awards is a result of the team’s innovative thinking – bringing their creativity to highlight the winners of our awards. We are thrilled that these two projects have now been recognised by TAF too!’

‘These two awards are brilliant recognition of the skills and hard work by the BPIF team,’ said Charles Jarrold, BPIF chief executive. ‘I was delighted to see the team win in these two categories, and then be highly commended in another – a great evening.’
