Leeds-based RNB Group is developing its marketing fulfilment business with the introduction of the Imprint-MIS’s direct mail Business Control System (BCS).
Based in Leeds, RNB’s production facility encompasses data handling, digital and offset print, document management, web-to-print and mail services. The Imprint BCS will tie all this together and via accurate estimated to actual cost comparisons will allow the business to understand where savings can be made in order to make itself more competitive and more profitable.
To improve efficiency, RNB will use Imprint’s eXpert estimating, automated works instructions and production control through to pallet tracking and warehousing.
Managing director Bob Rhodes said, ‘Our business is growing fast and the implementation of the Imprint-MIS DM system will not only give us a faster way to create complex estimates and automate the order process via web-to-print, but more importantly, it will give us total visibility of every job going through production.’
RNB will integrate Imprint-MIS with its cross media digital marketing and fulfilment platform to provide activity pricing, costing and reporting alongside print and direct mail.
‘Since the introduction of the DM BCS almost a year ago, the take-up has been superb. Direct mail is different to any other sector within the industry and for companies like RNB to have a totally dedicated system makes all the difference,’ says Wayne Beckett, director at Imprint-MIS.
