Managing director of Romax, Robin Sumner, has joined the BPIF board of directors

Robin Sumner, managing director of Romax, Doug Kinsman, operations director of SG World and Mark Roberts, managing director of Acorn Web Offset, have joined the BPIF board of directors.

All have held positions on BPIF regional boards, helping to represent members’ views in each region.

Mr Sumner has been helping marketing professionals with their print and personalised communication requirements for over 20 years, supplying data-driven printed marketing services and direct mail.

Mr Kinsman has worked in the printing industry for over 20 years having begun his career as a graduate trainee manager with Bowaters in its security print division in Northern Ireland.

Mr Roberts took up the role of managing director of Acorn in 2009. He leaves his position of chairman of the BPIF’s North East Regional Board.

BPIF president Darren Coxon said, ‘I’d like to welcome Mark Roberts, Robin Sumner and Doug Kinsman to the board as non-executive directors, all of whom are highly credible appointments and will – I am certain – add huge value.’

Charles Jarrold, BPIF CEO, commented, ‘I’m delighted that Robin, Doug and Mark are joining our board as non-executives. Each of our non-executives combine extensive industry experience from a diverse range of businesses with familiarity of the scope of the BPIF’s activities, and will play an active and valuable role in helping our executive team develop the BPIF’s support for UK print.’
