Duplo is staging a two-day festival on June 14-15 featuring homegrown talent and music performances from the great and the good in the print industry.
The “Celebration of Creativity in Print” will see the back of Duplo’s Addlestone, Surrey-based head office and warehouse transformed into a festival field with a full-blown stage, comedy tent, bar and festival-style food concessions.
Gates open 10am both days, with main stage music beginning at midday and finishing at 10pm (Wednesday 14 June), and an earlier finish (6pm) on Thursday 14th.
One field will be dedicated to Duplo’s systems – including a special guest who will be revealed at the event – along with exhibits from event partners at Renz, Vivid, Friedheim International and Infigo Software.
‘My vision is to create a uniquely different event for our industry; a chance to celebrate print in the sun, listening to music from some of the industry’s best talent,’ said Peter Jolly, Duplo UK managing director. ‘Doing another open house would have been easy but we wanted to have some fun and bring people together to celebrate print.’
Further information and tickets are available at www.duplofest.co.uk.
During the run-up to the festival, Mr Jolly will be running 172.2 km (the same distance from Duplofest to Glastonbury) in aid of Duplo’s charity Shooting Star Chase. There will be a collection bucket going around at event.
