HP Latex 315 Print and Cut
Announced at US ISA Sign Expo 2017, the HP Latex 300 Print and Cut Series is a dual-device solution that offers printing and cutting in a single workflow.
Designed to help sign shops, quick printers and print service providers grow their businesses, the 54-inch HP Latex 315 Print and Cut and 64-inch HP Latex 335 Print and Cut models offer more efficient production for a broad range of applications such as high-quality floor and window graphics, as well as stickers and customisable clothing.
‘HP Print and Cut reduces total cost and improves workflow, enabling Latex water-based inks to further replace solvent for indoor and outdoor applications,’ said HP’s Xavier Garcia, general manager, Large Format Printing division. ‘The solution reinforces the market momentum toward HP technology, now reaching the milestone of 42,000 units sold, with 12,000 added in the last year alone.’ he added.
HP Latex Print and Cut solutions are designed to work with the recently released HP Signage Suite, which is designed for integration into PSPs’ web-to-print operations, making it possible to receive orders at any time.
HP has also announced an extended media offering for its Latex printers with a new series of textiles for soft signage applications that delivers high print quality and durability, without requiring post-processing. Another new media, HP Everyday Blockout Display Film, offers an innovative three-layer construction for improved suppleness, superior lay-flat properties, and is also 100% opaque to prevent show-through.
