The HP Latex Series is compatible with ImagePerfect, the new textile materials range from Spandex

Seven new textile substrates specifically designed for latex, solvent and UV printers have been added to Spandex’s ImagePerfect range of materials.

The new ImagePerfect materials increase Spandex’s range to 21 textile substrates, all of which are compatible with existing latex, solvent or UV printers – precluding the need for a dedicated textile printer. The range is fray-free, suitable for cold knife cutting and sold up to 3.2 m in width.

The seven new ImagePerfect products are: ImagePerfect 2325 Display Premium – suitable for indoor and outdoor applications; ImagePerfect 2326 Display Grey Back – a curl-free blockout material; ImagePerfect 2327 Backlit – a fine woven fabric with light diffusion back coating for light boxes etc.; ImagePerfect 2328 Display Satin – offers a choice of two printable sides, one matt and the other satin, for display frame systems, pop-up display systems, table cloths and banners; ImagePerfect 2330 Canvas Banner – for canvas frames, art reproduction, roll-up display systems, wall coverings and banners; ImagePerfect 2329 Display – offers lay-flat hanging for display frames, pop-up systems, banners and interior décor; and ImagePerfect 2331 Banner Grey Back – designed for indoor and outdoor use and is also 100% recyclable.

‘Our new textiles offer Spandex customers enormous potential, enabling them to deliver highly profitable and visually stunning soft signage and décor applications simply using the print devices they already have in their shop,’ said Leon Watson, Spandex UK general manager.

‘Designers and architects are moving away from PVC and looking for materials that deliver a softer, sleeker look and feel,’ he added. ‘It’s no longer a question of “Will sign and graphic producers move into textile printing?”, but more a case of “When?”‘

Spandex’s new textiles range is available to view at Sign and Digital UK this week.
