Kent-based paper and cartonboard supplier, Chapelton, has recruited two new members of staff with extensive industry experience to assist the company with its strategic growth ambitions.
Chapelton has appointed Paul Cox, previously purchasing manager with the Howard Hunt Group, as commercial manager. Paul was also trading manager at Premier Paper Group for nine years.
Rob Barker, formerly sales advisor at Antalis, where he worked for nearly 10 years, is Chapelton’s new sales manager.
The new personnel will fill an experience gap that the company had in certain fields. At present no further staff additions are planned.
Commenting on the new staff recruits, Neil Skelton, Chapelton’s managing director, stated, ‘Paul and Rob are proving to be excellent additions to our already highly experienced staff; they provide knowledge and understanding of the paper industry and end users that works very well with our renowned knowledge in the cartonboard sector. We look forward to them becoming important members of our team.’
