The British Association for Print and Communications awards for excellence in print has named Saxoprint ‘business of the year.’
The awards were handed out on 2 February during a special luncheon in London, where Vivid Lamination Technologies won ‘Supplier of the Year’ and It Has To Be Brilliant took the honours in the ‘Environmental Printer of the Year’ category. The awards were sponsored by Duplo.
Philip Foster, senior key account manager at Saxoprint, which has its headquarters in Germany and service centre offices in London, said: ‘We take enormous pride in winning the ‘Business of the Year’ award from the BAPC, an organisation constantly sharing expertise with printers. Its advice has certainly helped us develop and grow our business.’
‘The BAPC does a great job in helping companies,’ agreed Peter Jolly, managing director of Duplo UK, ‘which is why we were delighted to sponsor the awards.’
‘Our independent panel of judges had difficult choices to make, but were unanimous on the winners,’ commented Sidney Bobb, BAPC Chairman. ‘Everybody who was nominated should also be proud of their achievements.’
The other short-listed companies were: Canon, Copy Color, Duplo, EFI, Fineline Printing, IFS, Kall Kwik, Farnham, Print4UK, Ricoh and The Magic Touch.
