Leicester-based GI Solutions Group has acquired Eclipse Colour Print, Eclipse 4dm and Direct Link for an undisclosed sum.
All the companies will continue to trade on their existing sites and under their current identities to grow the business over the next few years. Simon Moore, owner of Eclipse Colour & Eclipse 4dm has joined the GI Solutions Group main board and will continue in his role as managing director of Eclipse’s Kettering sites.
‘We can now all work together and create an enlarged group with a greater product offering,’ commented Patrick Headley, CEO of GI Solutions Group. ‘We plan to evolve the 4dm plant into a fully digital operation that will give the group a very robust disaster recovery plan.’
‘I am delighted to be working with GI Solutions Group,’ said Mr Moore. ‘This will give both our customers and ourselves many more options moving forward.’
The combined group will have a large product range from data services, through DM and transactional services to commercial print with a combined turn-over of around £80m.
GI Solutions appointed Sotos Constantinides as chief finance officer in December 2016.
