Graham Timson (L) hands over control of Mayday Graphic Products to the company’s new MD, Jim Fox
Jim Fox has been appointed the new managing director of Mayday Graphic Products, replacing Graham Timson, who has retired.
During his 26 years at the company, Mr Fox became the ‘the go to person’ for his knowledge of knowledge of litho, digital and wide format printing. He also expanded Mayday’s portfolio of wide format printers and media.
‘I’d like to thank Graham for the opportunity to take over from him as the new managing director,’ said Mr Fox. ‘We have worked together since Graham became MD 2004. […] I look forward to the future with immense optimism.’
‘I am confident to be handing over the reins of Mayday to Jim,’ commented Mr Timson. ‘For me it is the right time to retire, safe in the knowledge Mayday Graphic Products is well placed to move onto another phase.’
Two other members of staff have also been promoted: head of wide format Richard Anderson has been made a director, while Helen Timms has been promoted from office manager to general manager.
