The new 4 x 4 models can produce 100 m2/hr in quality mode
The new 4 x 4 models of swissQprint’s Nyala 2 and Impala 2 series come configured with quadruple CMYK for high printing speed and are available now.
Both the Nyala 2 (3 x 2 m) and the Impala 2 (2.5 x 2 m) UV flatbed printers are now available as 4 x 4 models, meaning that each can be configured with four printheads per colour (CMYK) to increase throughput
Printing in quality mode (100 m2/hr) delivers an optimum speed:density ratio. Results are claimed to be impressive in terms of brilliant colours as well as rendering of fine detail. In fine art mode, which offers high density and the widest colour gamut for applications such as backlit displays, the 4 x 4 models can produce 57 m2/hr.
Both printers can be equipped with a roll to roll option, or a board option capable of handling media up to 4 m long, i.e. twice the print bed depth.
SwissQprint’s robot, Rob, is compatible with the 4 x 4 models for performing unmanned shifts.
