The updated Graphic User Interface (GUI) offers a more user-friendly experience
The latest GUI update from InkTec for its Jetrix KX printers aims to simplify large format printing and deliver a more user-friendly experience.
The new software supports nesting images, enabling duplication without the need for massive RIP files.
The system also offers the ability to set the lamp power on a scale of 1-9, delivering more precision to suit the media type; the higher scale is better suited to robust media, whereas the lower scale enables printing onto more heat sensitive substrates.
There is also a new flood tool that creates a flood white or black layer in RIP without the need to create a separate layer in the artwork.
‘The requirements for this version centre on delivering a user friendly experience while specifically focusing on areas which will deliver a direct, positive impact for the printer,’ said Joey Kim, managing director of InkTec Europe.
