The IFS stand at Ipex 2014
Apex Digital Graphics, Duplo, Intelligent Finishing Systems, Renz and Watkiss Automation have been announced as the first companies to publicly commit to Ipex 2017.
‘Today’s show of strength demonstrates this will be the premier international event for print in 2017,’ said event director Rob Fisher. ‘Discussions with other major manufacturers continue and we look forward to making more announcements in the New Year.’
Apex Digital Graphics managing director Bob Usher said: ‘Ipex has taken into account what both the equipment manufacturers and printers need. The show has always been an excellent business platform for us and we are looking forward to introducing new and existing customers to our ground-breaking equipment.’
Duplo UK marketing manager Sarah Crumpler added that, ‘Although UK-led, Ipex will be an international show and will provide a platform to allow printers to get hands-on with our latest innovations. We’re looking forward to welcoming customers and prospects from the UK and further afield to the NEC again.’
‘Intelligent Finishing Systems is a long-term supporter of Ipex and we have enjoyed many successful Ipex’s over the years, said IFS managing director Bryan Godwyn. ‘We are looking forward to showcasing automated systems at the UK’s largest print event and we will have live demonstrations on our stand which embrace the theme of ‘print in action’.’
Renz promises to show two new machines, which to date have only be shown in prototype form at the event,
UK based finishing manufacturer Watkiss Automation said that it believed in Ipex’ ability to deliver to the industry’s shifting needs. Communications director Jo Watkiss said, ‘Ipex 2017, which sits mid-way between drupa exhibitions, is an important stage from which to talk to our customers.’
Ipex 2017 takes place from 31 October – 3 November at the NEC, Birmingham.
