Investment in an IFS-supplied Horizon HT-30C three-side trimmer has enabled Catford Print Centre improve its on demand book production process.
Positive response to a marketing campaign led to an upsurge in book sales for the company, which already has a Horizon BQ-270 perfect binder.
‘It was no longer feasible to three side trim books manually on the guillotine, explained owner Russell Jones. ‘We recognised that we needed a three-side trimmer.’
‘The HT-30C has already made a significant difference in productivity,’ he added. ‘Our main considerations were freeing up the guillotine and making life more comfortable for our operators. It couldn’t have come sooner.’
