Roy Burton, managing director, and Colonel Tim Richmond, Vice Lord Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire after the cutting of the ribbon
The new headquarters for Your Embroidery Services were opened on 8 December by Colonel Tim Richmond, Vice Lord Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire.
Colonel Richmond declared Sovereign House open and made mention in his speech that businesses such as YES are very important to the local economy and have helped lift the employment prospects in the area.
In the course of 20 years the company has grown from the study of managing director Roy Burton’s house to its new premises: a purpose designed HQ housing admin, sales, support and mechanical and electronic workshops.
Visitors were treated to a tour of the building and demonstrations of machines covering embroidery, direct to garment printing, UV printing and label printing and finishing.
The directors made a special presentation to Steve Gilbert, the first person to be employed by the company over 20 years ago (and still with the company today). There was also a presentation to the company by SWF Embroidery machines, represented by Mr Yungrok Park.
