Arjowiggins Graphic has won multiple accolades at the WWF Environmental Paper Awards 2016.
Awards are based on product level performance and are issued in the categories ‘Transparency’, ‘Best Environmental Performance Paper Brands’ and ‘Striving for Continual Improvement’.
The company received the ‘Transparency’ award for publishing the forest, climate and water footprint for 100% of its paper products, and 17 of its papers received awards for ‘Best Environmental Performance Paper Brands’. The company’s Cyclus 100% recycled and Cocoon Silk 100% recycled both scored highly in the ‘Best Environmental Performance Paper Brands’ category.
‘We are incredibly proud to have been recognised by the leading international environmental body, WWF,’ said Gilles Lhermitte, sustainability director at Arjowiggins Graphic. ‘Our success at this year’s awards will hopefully demonstrate to others that paper can be produced responsibly and that both paper producers and suppliers can have a meaningful role in a “green economy”.’
