Lay-flat binding ensures that book can open fully flat without breaking the spine
To produce lay-flat binding in-house, Park Communications has invested in a Kisun DB 440, Digi Binder and Digi Press with a cover gluing unit.
Lay-flat binding, which allows books to open fully flat across a spread, will be used to produce corporate brochures, photobooks, lookbooks and property brochures.
‘The binder allows us to create a stunning brochure with maximum space for imagery, graphics and creativity and a seamless flow to the design,’ explained Paul Walker, deputy managing director.
Additional investment in a Heidelberg cylinder means that Park will also be able to produce complex die-cut and folded pieces in-house.
