The Ricoh Pro8200s
A new monochrome digital press, the Pro 8200s, has been launched by Ricoh, which offers and expanded range of media sizes and weights, including a 700 mm long banner sheet.
‘The 8200s ensures greater flexibility to meet demands for faster turnaround times and tighter deadlines,’ said Ricoh Europe production printing vice president Benoit Chatelard.
A high capacity interposer after the fuser enables the machine to combine pre printed sheets from colour digital and litho machines with its black and white output.
Papers up to 350 gsm can be printed, including coated media and NCR sets.
The 136 A4 page/minute machine was shown for the first time last week at Ricoh’s Open New Worlds event at its customer experience centre in Telford. It will be available from January 2017.
