The BPIF has announced the winners of the 2016 British Book Design and Production Awards, held on 10 November in Knightsbridge.

Best Jacket/Cover Design was won by publishers Pan Macmillan for Not Working. Aisling Lee, a student from the National College of Art & Design, took home the Best Student Book prize. The Folio Society finished at the top of three categories: Brand/Series Identity for Folio Collectables; Best British Book for Alice in Wonderland; and also Book of the Year for the same title. The judges agreed it was ‘a worthy winner’.

The guest host for the evening was Baroness Floella Benjamin OBE, who presented 19 awards to the recipients.

All finalists were celebrated in a commemorative Book of the Night designed by ThePageDesign and produced by Boss Print.

Entry for the 2017 BBDPAs will open in March.
