TheMagicTouch personalised a guitar using its RST9.1 transfer paper
The prize for ‘Best Image Transfer Product of 2016’ went to TheMagicTouch at EuroTrophex 2016 in Amsterdam.
The award winning entry consisted of a personalised Fender Telecaster guitar decorated using RST9.1 transfer paper which was printed using an Oki white toner printer. The transfer was applied to the body of the guitar using a heat press and then finished with six layers of clear resin varnish to match the factory original finish.
A selection of guitar picks were also decorated with personalised designs and printed using the image transfer process.
The original design is from a photograph featuring the view from Dukes Bar at the Outrigger Hotel in Hawaii where the guitar is to be auctioned in December helping to raise money towards local charities.
