Vivid’s SRA3 portrait format Matrix 370 now has the option of autofeeding and duplexing
Double-sided laminating and automatic sheet feeding have been added to Vivid Laminating Technologies Matrix 370 range of SRA3 portrait format machines.
Both of these developments were first launched earlier this year on the firm’s bigger Matrix 530 machines, which led to customers with the smaller machines also requesting these capabilities.
The firm has also developed Easycoat and Easyguide, two products for creating extra thick products by sticking multiple sheets of board together. Easycoat applies a layer of adhesive to SRA3 sheets, which are then mounted in the Easyguide to ensure accurate registration during bonding using an Easymount laminator.
While the firm’s recent hardware developments have focused on these more traditional laminating applications it has also extended its range of consumables with a white digital foil, offering an alternative method of creating digital white without needed to invest in a press.
