The upgraded Xerox Colour C60/C70 offers better paper weight management and automation
Software updates and feature enhancements to Xerox’s Colour C60/C70 Printer increase substrate flexibility and image quality.
‘Customers will find added value in what we’ve done,’ said Anna Askels, European product marketing manager. ‘We’ve kept the small footprint and entry level pricing but added features normally associated with our high-end production printers.’
The printers can now handle a wider range of substrates to include lightweight media (60 gsm) along with heavier stocks (256 gsm 2-sided/300 gsm 1-sided). There is also a new online Paper Catalogue.
Simple Image Quality Adjustment (SIQA) is now integrated into the device and the upgraded device has closed loop process controls for higher quality printing with less operator involvement.
There are new colour management tools on the FreeFlow Print Server, while the new EFI Fiery NX featuring Fiery QuickTouch technology is claimed to enable high-end colour management on an entry-level device.
The Xerox Colour C60/C70 is available now. Customers already operating a Xerox Colour C60/C70 can upgrade to the new enhancements.
