Robert Hoon (L) and Mike Holyoake shake hands on the second Xerox Rialto 900 at Datagraphic’s new site in Rugby

Document outsourcing business Datagraphic has installed a second Xerox Rialto 900 roll to sheet inkjet press to meet demand for faster turnaround times.

It is the first UK firm to take two Rialtos, building on its position as the first firm to install its original machine back in March 2015. The press was installed in the new larger factory in Rugby, which it moved into in July.

‘We’ve seen such a growth in demand for minute-critical documents from our HybridMail and MultiChannel services, it was essential to have extra print capacity whilst maintaining production efficiency,’ said Robert Hoon, managing director of Datagraphic. ‘Clients can now send data later in the day and we are still able to provide a fast turnaround that gets documents out on the same day; with two Rialtos we can grow and fulfil more orders quicker.’

Mr Hoon also praised the speed of the installation, which took 48 hours from delivery to being in production.

In addition to the two Rialtos, Datagraphic runs a fleet of Xerox presses including an Colour 8250, Colour 800i and Nuvera 120 and 144 monochrome machines.

‘Datagraphic’s investment in a second Xerox Rialto 900 will ensure the firm has the technology it needs to continue its successful growth over the coming years,’ said Mike Holyoake, general manager, Graphic Communications Operations, Xerox UK.
