Massivit 1800 can produce large scale models in a matter of hours

At C! Print in Madrid next month, Papergraphics will showcase the Massivit 1800 3D printer and its output, including a 1.8 m high replica of the Easter Island stone figures.

The Barcelona-based wide-format print specialist will give demonstrations throughout the show on the Massivit 1800, which can create bespoke sculptures up to 1.8 m high, 1.5 m wide, 1.2 m deep at a speed of 300mm per hour.

At drupa, Massivit revealed that it had received 23 orders for the 1800. ‘Interest from businesses across Europe proves that 3D printing is a growing market and that there is a desire to embrace technology,’ said John Selby, CEO of Papergraphics.’

Papergraphics signed a partnership with Massivit early in 2016 to distribute its equipment.
